Work flow and principle of softened water equipment:

Ion exchange technology ? : The core component of softening water equipment is ion exchange resin, which is a polymer material with ion exchange function. The ion exchange resin can exchange with calcium and magnesium ions in water, adsorb calcium and magnesium ions on the resin, and release the same amount of sodium ions, so as to achieve the softening of water.

Working process:

1.Backwashing:After the equipment runs for a period of time, impurities and calcium and magnesium ions will accumulate on the surface of the resin, affecting the exchange ability.

2.Backwash: The impurities and calcium and magnesium ions on the surface of the resin are washed away by backwash to restore the exchange ability of the resin

3.Salt absorption and regeneration:A certain concentration of brine is injected into the resin layer to exchange calcium and magnesium ions on the resin with sodium ions in the brine to replace calcium and magnesium ions and restore the exchange ability of the resin.

4.Washing:Rinse the brine in the resin layer with clean water until the hardness of the water meets the requirements.

5.Operation:After the completion of regeneration, the equipment enters the normal operation state. When raw water passes through the resin layer, calcium and magnesium ions in the water are adsorbed on the resin, while sodium ions are released into the water to achieve water softening.
